Suggest Treatment For Vomiting And Loss Of Appetite For An 8-month-old
My 8 month old is vomiting/spitting up and wont eat and has not had a wet diaper all day . She is moaning like whiny! The dr said it could be a stomach virus and if she doesnt have a wet diaper til morning to bring her in. SHe was born with a Omphalocele that was repaired and she was having regular stools but hasnt had one since last night. WHat is going on?

It can be a viral gastroenteritis and if she can't eat it drink anything she may need to get rehydrated intravenously. Also, further examinations are needed such an abdominal ultrasound.
