Suggest Treatment For Vomiting And Diarrhea In A Child

Hi docter my is 4 years old . last3 days he has having vomiting and loosr motions.because i last nyt i have given him rice with spinach and egg. I hav given morning and night 2.5 ml emeset and 5 ml nor metrogyl syrup.. also only 2 times nutrolin b syrup 5 ml... plz suggest me this is right?any side effect?

The most common cause of vomiting and diarrhea is infection, usually viral though bacterial infection can also occur.

During these symptoms, solid food is avoided unless there is a 4 hour window with no symptoms. Using solid food when symptoms are still present would make it worse because the intestines cannot absorb the food.

He needs liquids preferably pedialyte or a similar product that would give him back fluids and electrolytes.
Since he is vomiting he should take small amounts regularly eg every 5 mins, if tolerated the amount can be increased
