Suggest Treatment For Vomiting And Chills After Food

hi i have a friend here who had left work on his break and he was just fine...we had went to a restraunt to grab a bite to eat and he ate some of his sandwhich and other things and said he had to use the restroom..after about 20 minutes he came out all sweaty and dizy and he was all disoriented and told me he filled up the sink with vomit...i got him home and he immediately went to the restroom to continue vomiting..he came back into the room and started shaking really bad claiming he was freezing when it was burning up in the room...could you please tell me what is wrong with him and do we need to take him to a doctor?
