Suggest Treatment For Vitamin D Deficiency

My daughter is 14 years old. She is 5'7" and weighs approx. 190 lbs. She has had a vitamin deficiency the last year of Vit. D and Iron and has been taking supplements and a multivitamin off and on. Around August she presented with high blood pressure of 140/100 and it has maintained pretty much that pressure since. I could not get her pediatrician to do anything about it. I have taken her to a general practitioner last week and she put her on a low dose beta blocker, metaprolol. I started her on that on Friday. After taking the meds I notice her B/P sometimes goes up.. hasn't went down at all. Just now it was 130/110. I am not sure what to do.
