Suggest Treatment For Vascular Problem In Mid Section
My name is Thomas Wood i have a daughter Taylor she is 18 yrs old and for two years now has been dealing with a rare vascular problem in her mid section that is so bad all she does is cries in agony. We have been to many doctors with no results.we are working with U of M now and they are scheduled for exploratory surgery friday but we are going there today because the pain is so bad all we can do is drug her and rub her back til she moans to sleep. No one really seams to no the answer and they say they have access to the world data banks but no one else has this issue. Taylor was born with a port wine stain on her face in one area and they are trying to say maybe its in her lower tummy area but no real answer.our world is a sad one,and our finances are also and we"re just looking for an answer,or at least hope.any insight would be helpful.thanks
Port wine stain may be an indicator of hemangioma. These benign vascular lesions are tend to be multiple; and maybe it is the reason of intense pain. Also, vascular injuries may cause ischemic pain. Abdominal CT and CT angiography may reveal the problem on the vascular structure or other areas. If they result as inconclusive, a consultation with algology may be beneficial.
