Suggest Treatment For Varicose Veins

hi,

my mother leg is swollen due to varicose veins blood clot.

6 years back she was operated, but now she facing the same problem.

she works in a garments for 8 hours daily (full standing)

1 month back she met the same doctor who operated her, he gave some medicines but it is no use.

day by day her pain is increased and her leg has become very hard.

Thank you for your question . If you were my patie nt i would suggest :
-to buy compresive socks
-Taking medications to support the wall of the veins like diosmin 600 mg 3*1 tab for 3 days 2*1tab for 2 days after that 1 tab a day
- her condition is work related . It would be of great help if she could elevate her legs for like 10 min per hour
Is she taking anticoagulants for the thrombophlebitis ? If not she should consider some .
It would be good for her to take extra care of her skin , for preventing varicose ulceration .
