Suggest Treatment For Varicose Vein Swelling On Legs

I have variscose veins on my right leg. within the last couple of years has begun swelling. Now when I take off my socks at night, I see the swelling quite well. I have heard it is because of a probable blood clot, as both lfeet are not swollen yet. what should I do?Although at times the other foot swells some, yet the right one does quite more.

Radiologist 's  Response
Hi
Its quite common complaint by many people.its a chronic condition . The cause for varicosity of veins should be evaluated.Ultrasound abdomen & doppler study of both lower limb should be taken.if varicose veins are due to incompetent valves go for recent non surgical techniques like laser/ endovenous ablation .its a day care procedure.but the treatment plan depends on grade of varicosity. Consult a vascular surgeon / intervensional radiologist.
Thank u
With best regards
