Suggest Treatment For Urinary Tract Infection

Hi i am a woman of 45 yrs, height 5 feet 4 inches, weight 68kg. On 16th 0ct 2011 my pus cells were 15-20 and RBCs were 30-35. At that time i had suppressed and burning in urination. Culture test was also positive. I had a treatment of antibiotics for 14 days. On 6 dec 2011 again i had a urine examination. Now it is written that fields are full of pus cells, epithelial cells are 8-10 and RBCs are nil, but presently i had no abnormal symptoms. What should i do now ?

Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your clinical history and query, my opinion is as follows:
1. Hi, asymptomatic infections are common and need to be treated.
2. You will require treatment now as it can spread to upper areas like kidney or even systemic.
3. Get a culture done and start treatment based on sensitivity tests.
4. Maintain hygiene in future. Drink good amount of fluids.

Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
