Suggest Treatment For Urinary Tract Infection

I believe I am starting with a urinary tract infection. I have had them in the past. I am drinking cranberry juice and water but in the past I needed antibiotics. I am scheduled to have a ganglion cyst removed from my hand in two days. Will this stop the surgery if I do need antibiotics?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
If urinary tract infection is severe then it is advisable to wait till infection is over.
Along with antibiotic there is no problem for removing ganglion.
It is better to be operated under antibiotic cover to prevent infection on operated site.
Ok and take care.
