Suggest Treatment For Urinary Incontinence

I am a 75 year old female wgo has a contience problem, in the past I have to wear a pad just in case of a some lite leakage. now it has gotten really bad. When I am sitting and get up the leakage is like someone turned on a fauet, I have also had a problem with a pain in my groin that goes down to my left knee. Is it possible that there is some connection or is it because it has been cold out. YYYY@YYYY

Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. Pain radiating from groin to left knee appears to be related to left hip arthritis.
2. X-ray of left hip can confirm arthritic changes. NSAID painkillers like celecoxib can be taken for it.
3. For urinary incontinence, pelvic floor exercises and kegel exercises will be helpful. Also bladder training will be helpful. If it does not improve, medications or surgical management can be thought of. Take good amount of water to avoid risk of urinary tract infection.
Meet your doctor for investigation for left hip joint.
Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
