Suggest Treatment For Upper Respiratory Infection And Fever

My sister has had an upper respiratory infection and has had fever for 7 days. She saw a doctor several days ago who did not hear anything suspicious in her lungs. She has runny nose, a pretty severe dry cough and fatigue. She does not appear to be getting better. Suggestions?

you can take cefadroxyl twice daily for five days
you can take cough syrup contains Salbutamol 2times a day for five days
give her cetrizine twice a day for five days
give paracetamol twice a day for five days

avoid out side commercial products
don't eat spicy and fried food
don't eat Ice cream, chocolate chip cookie
don't drink cold water, cold drink

take glass of warm water and salt and gargle
drink milk with adding turmeric powder
