Suggest Treatment For Unsteady Gait And Parkinson S Disease
sure I take are of a man who has hx of Parkinson s and has dbm and recent chf dx. Today he is more unsteady on his feet and hands are more shaky than usual. Speech is a bit more slurry than usual. Sugar good, po2 is 91(has home o2 if needed. Family wondered if he could be a stroke? I think flair up of Parkinson s and lack of good sleep due to a summer cold

Yes it can be and stroke must be ruled out. But i wonder why is he not on medication. It is also possible that he is having exacerbation of pakinsonism. In both cases he needs to be in ER right now. So hurry up.
