Suggest Treatment For Unilateral Sore Throat And Tremors Of Mastoid Muscle

Sir, I have had a unilateral left side sore throat for over a month...I have a click when I swallow saliva near the thyroid cartilage...I dont have any kind of discomfort while eating...But all of the problems happen on normal swallowing....The glands also dont seem to be swollen...I had a chest X ray which is totally normal...I was advised antibiotics of high dose and antihistaminics plus analgesics...but that clicking and sore throat has not gone even after a month, though the pain aint there much...No associated earaches as such...and Sir, I also have a slight click-click sound when rotating my head on the same side...the major problems are thus as follows---
Unilateral sore throat for over a month now
click in the centre of the throat on swallowing saliva
tightness in same side neck muscles at times
and also, tremor of sternocleidomastoid muscle on forced contraction on the same side...
Sir please help, both times I have been sent away by the ENTs saying I have a pharyngeal wall congestion but it hasnt helped..thanx in advance

Thankyou for the Question
Brief..From above mentioned symptoms it is diagnosed sternocleidomastoid syndrome
Detail..as this muscle function is to extend the head and turns it to the opposite side, and many other complex functions too, this muscle has some knot like trigger points ,so any awkward position can create these symptomsas by irritating these trigger points.
The treatment for this syndrome is to find out trigger points manualy by a professional,to release pressure on trigger points. other option for treatment is self massage.
Hopefully my answer will be surely helpfull.

hi, have got any dental restoration quite lately. or do u have a job where u need to focus at a point for a long. it appears more to be a neuromuscular disorder. may b a trained physiotherapist may be of some help. also get a orthopantomogram(opg) to rule out elongated styloid process called eagles syndrome
all the best and wish u good health
