Hi friend,
Umbilical hernia is a surgically correctable ailment. However, the treatment is required only in symptomatic cases where pain and discomfort occurs regularly. Liver parenchymal disease along with spleen enlargement suggest that there is increase pressure in portal vein. It would lead to shrinking in size of liver; hence, liver part should be diagnosed and treated first. It would be better to consult a hepatologist for cause. The umbilical hernia can be get operated by laparoscopy or open surgery method.
