Suggest Treatment For Ulcerated Colitis

I was diagnosed with Ulcerated Colitis over 2 years ago. Since that time, my brother connected me with a nutritionist. She advised me to delete Dairy, all meats except for Fish & Chicken, and only non-gluten foods. My doctor told me from examination that I have healed, but not cured. Has anything been found out in helping to eliminate Colitis. Thank you for your advice, Barbara Harmon Since

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Read your history and understood the concerns.
Noted your history of having Ulcerative colitis for the last 2 years and under the care of an Dietitian who has advised to stop dairy, meats except fish and chicken and gluten free diet.
I would advise you the following simple formula.
Make a list of the foods, beverages and eatable in any form that suit you the most and another list of the things mentioned which instigate or enhance your problems.
Once this is made by observation of the past you can now have everything that suits you and t absolutely stop the things that is making the problems.
Secondly, this is a recurrent problem and hence you have to have regular follow-up with your Gastroenterologist and to change over the foods and beverages as you notice.
Medicines do helps a lot and follow the prescription of your Doctor.
Medication, keeping away from stress and anxiety all help a lot.
I find this answer helpful
