Suggest Treatment For Torn Frenulum With Pain And Bleeding

I need help. Whole having sex a few weeks ago, i stopped to see blood on my penis(uncircumcised) . I thought it was from the girl being a virgin so I stopped and I went home shortly after. When I reached home, I did not do anything for hours that past, then I decided to take a shower. While cleaning my penis I realized that I tore my frenulum and figured that all of that blood was from me. I cleaned the area and thought not much of it because many people online said that it would heal itself as long as I didn t irritate it. So I left the area alone. Now about 4 weeks later, I feel a slight burn in the head of my penis when I urinate or ejaculate. Although it is not a lot of pain it scares me very much. Also the head of my penis is slightly darker than before. I read online that it could be balanitis and certain creams could cure that very simply. I m 17 years old and I really don t want to have to go to my mom about this. It s really embarrassing and I m really scared and don t know what to do.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
I can understand your concern.
I would suggest you to consult a surgeon who after a physical examination would advise you for a circumcission if the foreskin is not retracting properly. Donot ignore if this is the case.
If the foreskin is retracting a short course of antibiotics and antiinflammatory drugs like aceclofenac would be sufficient for you.
Hope i haave answered your queries.
