I woke up on Thursday with pus and pain on my left tonsil. Saturday morning I woke up to my left feeling normal and my right swollen with pus on it. Last night my right tonsil looks bruised or black on part of it; along with pus. It hurts to swallow and is pretty inflamed. I frequently get tonsilliths in my right tonsil as well. Went to the doctor on Friday when my left tonsil was inflamed and ran a strep test. That was negative. I m debating if I need to go back in.
