I have been diagnosed with Tinnitus and my Doctor said there is no cure. I heard on the television that there is some way in which the ear can be trained to ignore the ringing sound that I have but with no explanation of how to accomplish that. Have you any advice?
I suggest you to visit an Audiologist who will do tinnitus evaluation and will get you the exact lesion location whether it is neural or idiopathic. The tinnitus can be treated with 'tinnitus retraining therapy" or "tinnitus maskers", which will be treated by an Audiologist.
All the best.
