Suggest Treatment For Tinnitus

Hi, i am 32, male, 6 foot 2 and weigh approximately 13 1/2 stone. Recently just before i went to sleep my right ear felt like it popped. Since then i have had constant ringing in my ears and when i talk i can hear myself inside my head but to others i am talking very quietly. I have tried using wax removal methods but nothing seems to help.
Can anyone please advise on what my problem is and what i can do? Thanks

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain ringing can occur due to a number of causes like excess ear wax accumulation, ear infection, perforated ear drum, TMJ disorders, Meniere's disease, Acoustic Neuroma etc..

I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like otoscopy, Audiometry, MRI scan etc can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..

You can be advised to take tricyclic anti depressants like Amitryptalline,anti anxiety drugs like Alprazolam along with Multivitamin supplements and Neuromodulation..
