Suggest Treatment For Tingling On Face, Numbness Of Tongue And Cough

I got a 8/80 injection around 3:00 today and at about 5, I had tingling in my face, it has now moved to my whole body including numbness of the tongue and lips chapped and swelling some- cough !!! But was doing that before so not relating that to injection... Took 50 mg Benadryl oral ... No relief at this point... Should I be concerned at this point?

Can understand your concern..

As per your complain the symptoms of tingling of face along with whole body numbness and numbness of tongue and swelling of lips and chapping is pointing towards allergic reaction to any of the components of the injection leading to the occurrence of the following symptoms..

As the symptoms did not improve even after taking anti allergic Benadryl as well as the symptoms seems to be spreading you need to immediately consult an Allergist or an Emergency room and get evaluated..

They can advise you oral anti allergics along with steroid injection to relieve the symptoms soon..
You should also drink plenty of water, take a nutritious diet and take sufficient rest..
