Suggest Treatment For Tightness In Chest And Difficulty In Breathing

I have discomfort on right side of my body along with a sensation of heaviness. It started in my right side under my lower rib. I have had ultrasound ct scan both negative. this discomfort, which I describe as burning pressure, has now spread to my right shoulder down to my lower leg, that whole side of my body feels what I also describe as solid, like muscle tightness all the way down and up. My right lung feels tight and I have trouble taking breaths when exercising and laying on my back

Pulmonologist 's  Response
Thanks for your question on HCM.
I can understand your situation and problem.
In my opinion you are mostly having bronchitis.
Your symptoms like chest tightness, heaviness and breathing difficulty on exertion etc are suggestive of bronchitis more.
So better to consult pulmonologist and get done
1. Clinical examination of respiratory system
2. PFT (Pulmonary Function Test).
PFT is must for the diagnosis of bronchitis.
It will also tell you about severity of the disease and treatment of bronchitis is based on severity only.
So get done PFT.
You may need inhaled bronchodilators and antihistamine drugs.
