Suggest Treatment For Tightening In Heels Of Foot

Hi, my 10 year old daughter is complaining for the second time this week about a feeling of tightening or squeezing in heels of her foot. Her health is normal, but i m concerned because this feeling brings her to tears. Please advise. Thank you, Ms. Chiles

Hello dear,
Understand your concern.
Following are the causes of your problem
1. Planter fasciitis: due to ligament streching, over exercise, sleeping
2. Achiles tendinitis
3. Hell spur : generally a/s with Planter fasciitis
4. Heel trauma: due to fall, trauma, injury with blunt object.

Take the following advice:
1. Complete rest till symptoms gone away
2. Put ice pad on heel
3. Avoid running
4. You can do mild stretching exercise
5. Use specialized orthotic shoe insert like HTP Heel seats: It relieve pain by applying target accupressor at injury site. It improve healing by naturally.
6. Tablet ibuprufen 500 mg Three times a day for 2-3 days
7. You can apply volini gel at heel
