Suggest Treatment For Thinning Of Vaginal Canal

I had a total hysterectomy 4 years ago.Recently, after coitus, I had a large blood loss.I went to my doctor who used a yellowish substance that is like cauterization. I follow up tomorrow. She said I have thinning of the vaginal canal and have to use hormone crème.She also said that Sexual activity (with or without) a partner is healthy for the vaginal canal after healing. She explained to me that the vaginal canal shortens and shrinks. She suggest sexual toys to help stretch vaginal walls. I am confused. If I hemorrhaged the last time, I am scared to engage in any sexual activity ( after I have healed)

HI
Well come to HCM
Because of the dry vagina such bleeding may be possible but in my opinion bleeding can not be taken lightly or as granted but this need to be investigated instead and better way to get done the ultrasonography test to rule out this, unless the reason of bleeding known better not to have the intercourse, take care.
