Suggest Treatment For Thick White Phelgm In The Throat

Hi, Fir the last 3 months I have been noticing I am producing excessive white thick phelgm and feel that I have to spit more and trying to get the phelgm out of my throat. I then notice today that my Tonsils resting on my tongue on both side and it looks like froth under my tonsils that I have to then rush to.the bathroom to spit it out. I also have been having heart burn, and burping louder so am not sure if it s coming from my stomach.or is it because my Tonsils to large that my saliva cannot pass down to my stomach easily. Can you help.

Hi welcome to the health care magic

Here either you can have respiratory chronic infection /inflammation or acid reflux induced cough

For acid reflux head elevation while sleeping and omeprazole capsule course prescribed

Avoid excess spicy foods and fatty meals that induce more mucus production

Your posterior pharynx has to be examined and Auscultation done
According treatment with antihistaminic drug or antibiotic prescribed
If excess wet cough with mucus production than Ambroxol syrup useful

If on Auscultation rhonchi heard than chest x ray done

Take care

Consult physician or pulmonologoist for examination
