Suggest Treatment For The Elevated Blood Sugar Levels

I have Diabetes Type 2. I am 49 years old. Female. Overweight. High blood pressure. I take medication for high BP, I take medication for the diabetes comma I also take medication for high cholesterol. My numbers have been really high lately ranging from 215 to 325. What can I do to lower them? I know I need to change my diet but what else?

Hai,

First we need to calculate your daily calorie need. Depends on that we should choose fiber and non carbohydrate foods. it will help in controlling diabetes.
take less amount of food (low calorie food) in multiple serving like 5 to 6 times.
adding more fiber vegetables and lees sugar fruits in your daily intake.
add millets and multi grain foods in your diet plan.

kindly get an opinion from a nutritionist to plan a diet depends on your calorie need as per the above advise.

Brisk walk for 30 minutes needed both in morning and evening.

avoid junk foods,stress.

practicing yoga will be beneficial both in weight control and diabetes control.

thank you
hope i answered your query
