Suggest Treatment For Testicular Discomfort Due To Back Injury

I injured myself working out in September of 2008. I weight trained everyday of my life and then all the sudden i have this strange feeling in my back and testicules. Its not pain but honestly i belive its worse. I cant even walk without having a jockstrap on and when i do walk i can only do it for a short time before the feeling comes. I cant lift anything or tighten anything. Anything that involves a struggle i cant do without it getting really bad. I went to the urolgist and he dident see anything wrong with my testicules but said it could possibly be nerve damage from my back and im feeling it in my testicules. He wanted me to do a m.r.i but i did not have the money. I have no insurance and i cant work becuase of this problem. I do not know what it could be or what to do. I have been to the emergency room 3 times and have also had a ultrasound on my testicules and still nothing. Please help me i was alwase a active guy and now i honestly cant do anything.

Hi.
Thanks for your query and an elucidate history.
Read and understood that your were a weight trained man who once on lifting hte weight got a back injury an the pain in the testicles so much so that it has made you crippled that you can not work, no insurance now.
It looks from your history of consultation with Urologist and 3 normal ultrasonography of the scrotum that the problem indeed is due to nerve pinching in the spine or on its way to scrotum.
Since the scrotum has nerve supply from different nerves, it is important to find whether the superficial nerves are pressed or stretched or pinched in the anterior abdominal wall due to hernia or muscle spasms or the deep nerves that traverse the pelvic floor.
I would advise you to consult a Neurologist ans get started and nerve soothing medicines gabapentin or so on empirical basis and see the results.
I find this answer helpful
