Suggest Treatment For Testicle Pain And Chills Due To Accident

My husband was in a car accident about three days ago (Monday afternoon). He didn t get much care in the ER. (It was a really bad car accident...totalled our vehicle.) The doctors seemed more concerned about why he lost control of the car than about his injuries. He is concerned because he hasn t had a bowel movement, and has burns from the air bags which the ER doctor didn t even bother to clean or dress. Now he is complaining he has pain all the way down to his testicles and he has chills, though he doesn t feel overly warm to the touch. I don t know what is wrong, but I can t seem to get him to seek any medical attention.

Hi Dear !! Thanks for your query to HCM.
I understood your health concerns.
My Impression-
Based on facts of your query,Your husband seems to have shock from the accidental injuries and needs to check up his blood pressure, which if low, needs hopstitalization for Iv fluids, if need be after attending doctor approves it.
Chills could be from either low blood pressure or from bacteremia caused by infected burns from air bag.Bowel constipation could be another cause which could cause chills. This would depend on the time after the accidental injury, which I can't guess.
Pain in testes needs to be assessed in relation to physical findings or it could be from Constipation causing pressure on testicular neurovascular bundles.
All these points needs to be assessed in your husbands case from your attending doctor.
Hope this would help you to plan further care with your doctors there.

Hope this resolves all your queries to your satisfaction.
