Suggest Treatment For Tendon Issues In Heel

Should shoes be fitted by the length as measured from the arch or by the length of your foot. I went to a speciality shoe store they said it should be by the arch and the extra toe length is actually good for your feet. They said my heel is turning out which is a symptom of tendon issues along with planter faceitis. Does this sound correct. They said I need orthotics

You need to check do you have pain in your feet? If not then don't confuse your self. Check for following things while taking shoes.
It should have good arch support on a medial side,
It should have soft sole so it will not put extra pressure on your feet plantar side (down side) muscles. One thing what here they told is right that the toes should have little extra space when you keep your feet inside. Rest all is OK. Incase when there is pain in feet I suggest to deep in hot water with added salt and keep it little up floating so water can touch all around. And if still pain is the then you can also take a visit of ortho or physio. Take care.
