Suggest Treatment For Tear In The Palm Of Hand

Hi had a tear in the palm of my hand due to work injury rguireing more than 15stiches the area around the stiches has gone black its been ten days now and have lost a few stiches with the wound open a little its no infection what is sceneriocheers ed at present im in bali it is clean and changing dressings every 2nd day

I have gone through your query and understand your concern. You are having wound in middle of palm. There is some marginal necrosis in the wound as you said some area around wound is black. You may need to excise this necrotic area gradually during dressing. Dressing is required every 3rd to 4 th days. You can take antibiotics to prevent it from getting infected. Analgesic such as ibuprofen are given to reduce pain. Vitamin B and C are helpful in recovery. You can discuss with your doctor about it. Hope your query get answered.
