Hi,I am Dr. Alexander H. Sheppe (Psychiatrist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I recently had my lower left leg amputated. After surgery I lost my taste for food everything tasted bad also I was having trouble swallowing the food would be stuck at the top of my throat it has been one month and I am still having same problems. My taste buds have come back a little but not much
HI Well come to HCM The history of amputation and the loss of test are nothing to do with each other the test problem could be due to the stomatitis and this need to be best treated with the mouth application which contained the tannic acid, if symptom does not improved then this need to be examined clinically, hope this helps.
