Suggest Treatment For Symptoms Of Sinus Infection

I have sharp pain in my neck throat and pallet when I bend over. Almost like sinus pressure you get when you have a sinus infection except that I dont feel stopped up or any other symptoms of a sinus infection. No runny nose, cough, etc. Its strange and I have never had this before.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of sinus infection which is because of upper respiratory infection leading to pressure in sinuses.

Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist once and get it examined. Doctor may order blood tests along with CT scan of sinuses. Start taking decongestant nasal spray along with steam inhalation. You should avoid intake of cold carbonated beverages. Start taking painkillers like Ibuprofen along with prescribed antiviral or antibacterial depending upon the diagnosis.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Get Well Soon.

Best wishes,
Dr. Harry Maheshwari
