Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..
As per your complain a painless swelling of the submandibular
salivary gland can be due to clogged duct of the salivary gland due to stone formation within the duct of the gland leading to accumulation of saliva into the gland that is obstructed in flowing into mouth due to obstruction..
Other causes can be any cystic or tumour formation..
I would suggest you to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like cross-sectional x-ray or
MRI of salivary gland to confirm the cause and treatment can be planned accordingly..
In case if there is stone formation, superficial stones can be removed manually by pushing the stone towards the duct of the gland, deeper stones needs surgical removal..
Other causes can be treated accordingly..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.
