Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns.

As per your complain a swollen painless bump behind ear can be a swollen post auricular lymph node while it can also be due to other causes like a sebaceous cyst or a Lipoma and both these conditions are non fatal..
Any confirmation can be done only after a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations [if required] like Biopsy/FNAC of the lump..
In case if it is a swollen lymph node you can take a short course of antibiotics and do warm compresses over it for resolution..
But in case if it is sebaceous cyst or lipoma removal has to be done..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
