Suggest Treatment For Swollen Inflamed Ear Lobes And Swollen Facial Glands

I have swollen inflamed ear lobes and swollen facial glands (on both sides) I don't appear to have an infection but some discomfort/pressure behind the nose but no pain. I'm 67 and suspect a reaction to the sun ( I play Golf) .
I've had it for 8 days now. Also itchy rash and flakey skin near ears.

Hello,
There could be inflammation in the salivary gland ie parotid gland .
YOu should get it examined by an ENT specialist .
Secondly the most important cause of such inflammation in old age is dehydration . You should improve your hydration and take plenty of fluids.
Take oral antiseptic gargles so that mouth cleanliness is maintained and infection from mouth are prevented from entering in the salivary glands through the ducts.
In doubt do reply
