Suggest Treatment For Swollen Glands Under Jaw And Sore Red Lumps At The Back Of Tongue

I ve been suffering from swollen glands under my jaw, on my neck, which are sore with inflamed red lumps at the back of my tongue for a couple of months now. Some days are worse than others and they are normally worse in the morning. I m also cold a lot of the time and my body temperature is 35.7.... I ve had a course of anti-biotics, do i need to go back to the gp?

Hi,
Welcome to Healthcaremagic.com.

I had gone through your question I can understand your concern about your tongue and lympadenopathy. As per your signs and symptoms it looks like the fungal or bacterial infection.

If it is white lesions on the tongue it may be the fungal infection because antibiotics some time lead to opertunistic infection of candiases on the tongue. Which may or may not be painful. The swollen lymph nodes can be also because of it.

Yes, You need to visit an general physician because the swollen glands are not good signs, mostly if they are painless though in your case it seems to because of infection, sore once.

You need to take antifungal or antibiotics in consultation with your doctor as per the need.

Hope my answer will help you and visit us back if you have any further queries.
