Suggest Treatment For Swollen And Sore Throat

Hi! I have an extremely swollen and sore throat, with pus- covered tonsils. Running fever around 102. I've already taken 4 doses of keflex 500 mg, with no improvement. Is it possible that this is viral or that I need a stronger antibiotic?

Golden rule of surgery is to remove pus where ever it is. It may not be pus in your case as I feel. So, I would like to suggest you to visit a doctor to rule out Pus and prescribe sensitive antibiotics in your case. Start salt water garling atleast every 2 hr till then. All the best.
