Hey, I have been bulimic for 4 years now. Recently, I have been experiencing what feels like a very swollen throat. When I take some Benadryl, the swelling seems to dissipate a bit. Swallowing feels dry and sometimes painful. In the past, I have experienced a swollen tongue; my lymph nodes right under the jaw are persistently swollen. They have been for years. I don t know if this recent throat issue is allergy or because of the bulimia. I have seen and researched all of the scary effects of the disorder. I am very underweight, have dry skin, thinning hair, and an very depressed and exhausted. I take potassium in supplement form every day. Do you think this throat swelling is a result of the bulimia or seasonal allergies? It seems to feel better after rest and allergy medicine, though kicks up again when I am stressed out. I am scared. I have been really trying to stop the bulimia and I am in treatment. What should I do? Thank you so much.
