Suggest Treatment For Swollen And Painful Throat

For about a week now I ve had a lot of pain in my throat. Both of my tonsils have been very red, and they were both swollen for a while, but now one of them looks like it s shriveled up and it hurts so bad I can barely swallow. Is this just some sort of infection?

Hi

Welcome in HCM.

I understand your concern and your clinical history indicates that you are having acute tonsillopharyngitis.

1- tab Paracetamol.

2- Warm saline gargling.

3- Adequate fluid orally.

4- Antacid.

5- Antibiotic (preferably broad spectrum).

Probably above treatment will help you.

Thanks for consulting HCM.
