Suggest Treatment For Swollen And Painful Testicle
hi i was riding my bike and hit a patch of bumps -- my feet slipped off the pedals and I was essentially holding all my weight on my testicles for a second or two. Very painful. I haven t noticed any extreme swelling, and there isn t intense pain, but the testicles are still tender and i feel a dull pain in my upper thighs. The biking incident was about 12 hours ago. Anything to worry about? Or should the aching go away in a couple days? Thanks
Hi. Thanks for your information of the testicular injury by your own weight due to bike accident 12 hours ago and now only pain, no noticeable swelling. There is tenderness at the testicle and and there is dull pain in the upper thighs. The pain in the upper thighs is a referred pain as the scrotum and the upper thigh has the same innervation. Since there is no swelling or so, the worry is less, but it is worth getting an ultrasonography and a color doppler examination to know the exact position of the testis and and the related structures. Get an opinion of a General Surgeon or an Urologist to be on the safer side as any anticipated sequel or complications.
