I have a friend at work who keeps having issues with her nose hurting and swelling very large. It is painful and red when it happens. She has been to several doctors and has been treated with antibiotics several times. The swelling went down after a week during the first episode a year ago. She started the same symptoms a few weeks ago. It swells and she goes on antibiotics and it goes down but now it keeps coming back more often. She says it starts with her nose stinging and hurting. No doctor has been able to figure it out. Any thoughts?
Thanks for your query i have gone through your query. The repeated swelling in the nose can be because of the hair follicle infection or because of the immuno compromised status like diabetes. Nothing to be panic, consult a good ENT surgeon or dermatologist and get it evaluated. You have get your blood sugar level checked. Till then you can take the same course of antibiotics. I hope i have answered your query. take care
