Suggest Treatment For Swollen And Painful Knuckle After Accidental Trauma In Hand

Iat work I was moving a bath and I hit a door frame with my hand, which resulted in me hurting my knuckle in my middle finger. An hour later after hitting my knuckle it started to hurt quite a bit and when I clench or opened my hand fully it would hurt. My knuckle also swelled a little bit. It's not been a week and I still have similar pain when I open or clench my hand.

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
You can try any anti-inflammatory drugs will give results and the best drug would be Ibuprofen 400 mg three times in day this will give good result but I would like to advise you to go for x-ray of your hand to rule out the possibility of fracture, if it is a fracture part then it will take at least 5 to 6 week to come around, take care have nice day.
