Suggest Treatment For Swollen And Leaking Feet Caused By Pacemaker Implantation

My 79 yr old Mom s legs are ozzing fluids profusely for the past 2 months after having a pacemaker put in to regulate her heart, but her feet kept swelling up after the surgery with edma so was put on lasik, but after that started this terrible ozzing fluids, and now has to wear compression leggings and see a wound care spec every week...but she is not getting better, only worse. Any suggestions?

Hi.

The pacemaker is in place to help the swelling as well but may some time to syart working its wonders. Speak to the doctor about the cause and if it cardiac related then we can only hope a combination of the pacemaker and the medications does the job. If not, then find the source and treat it.
