Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Dear patient
Where from the lymph nodes were removed? Right breast? Lymph nodes are the part of lymphatic system which helps in drainage of extracellular fluid. So after removal of lymph nodes for breast cancer function of lymphatic system is hampered and hence drainage of fluid from right arm becomes non functional. That's the reason for swelling of right arm. Now this must be explained to you by your surgeons as it can be permanent. Application of crepe bandage and limb elevation might help.
