Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have swelling on the right side of my groin running from my penis in the direction of my hip bone for a few inches, feels like tubes or something rather than the general area being swollen. Also getting a tingling pain on occasion on the underneath of my testicle (the bit nearest my body). Wondered if the swelling could be due to mastubating to hard? (I am right handed which would explain why the right side)
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have swelling in the groin area. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like swollen glands , hernia , sexually transmitted infections , saphena varix or localize infection . I would suggest you to keep this area clean and dry , wear loose cloths , apply warm compresses and take anti histamine like benadryl twice a day . If condition doesn't get better then consult dermatologist for proper examination . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics like clarithriomycin or clindamycin along with anti inflammatory or immunosupprassants .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
