Suggest Treatment For Swelling And Stiffness In The Fingers After An Injury
Five months ago I fell going up the steps and landed on my left hand. ai broke two bones in the hand area. However my little and ring finger hurt more than the broken bone area. the ring finger was asked from my middle finger leaving a larger space between the those two fingers pushing the ring finger against the little finger. Today the bones are healed and a lot of the swelling has gone down. There is still swelling around the knuckles and stiffness in the ring and little finger. The doctor keeps say oh that a arthritis, don t worry about that. Can you shed any light on what I can do now?
dear I understand that before going on for arthritis as a diagnosis after a trauma,we must ensure proper treatment. First of all regular anti inflammatory, analgesic and cold sponging during the trauma time are a must, After that if pain and swelling persists we must try for a physiotherapy to avoid any stricture or restriction in motility of the fingers and joints, However rafactor ,uric acid should also be checked. Please have a detail discussion with your treating doctor and have faith, all will be alright, hope this helps most welcome for further queries
