Suggest Treatment For Swelling And Pain On Knee

My knee has been hurting for a few weeks now and just recently it started to sweel and won t bend back and any kind of pressure I put on it when I walk it hurts. My brother works at a hospital and thinks my knees need to be drained, how do you know if they actually need to be?

HI
Well come to HCM
Knee is very fragile unit and highly vulnerable to disease and injury symptomatic medicine of course give very good result but this is not the cure but underlying cause of the symptoms would be more important and for that better to get done the MRI of knee, in case of effusion draining required, here the chances of arthritic changes is very likely, stop bending the knee joint beyond 90 degree, hope this information helps take care
