Suggest Treatment For Swelling And Burning Pain In The Knee

I had knee surgery 2 weeks ago ( to repair torn meniscus . Today leg is swollen especially around the ankle and below knee burning pain in leg. Should I be concern and call my doctor, or just stay on leg for a day or two? Burning pain below the knee. I had been very busy in the last week, walking a lot.

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Yoi are not having any symptoms (pain or swelling) in knee area. So no need to worry.
Since you were very active and walking a lot in last week, ankle edema and burning is expected.
So take rest at home.
Do limb elevation for 1-2 days.
Take simple painkiller like paracetamol or ibuprofen.
Your swelling and burning will mostly improve in 2 days.
If after 2 days, you still have swelling and burning then consult your doctor.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
