Hello, I have been taking xanax for 5 yrs just as needed 30 pills would sometime last me 2 months or 3 then i had a total hip replacement 1 year and a half ago i am 54 i now have so much anxiety had to give up my haircutting job of 33 yrs i seem to get one anxiety a day now just the last 6 months im more confussed then i ever have been dont want to go any where or get out of house its like im stuck a fear sort of speak scared ty what should i or could i do ty
I went through your details. Please do understand that you cannot get tid of anxiety completely because that is body's mechanism to defend fear. Because it is a defence mechanism, it is not harmful. If you try hard to remove your anxiety, it will proopel back more vociferously. You need to undergo Cognitive Behavioral Therapy sessions and a psychologist is the right person to provide. Consult a psychologist.
