Suggest Treatment For Stomach Ache

My six year old has been complaining about stomach aches for months. About a month ago he got a stomach virus and was sick for almost two weeks. We spent one night in the hospital because the pain had become so bad. They did an ultrasound to check for introseption (*spelling) He didn t at least not to the point that his bowels got stuck. He is still complaining about his stomach hurting in the evenings. Could it be a serious issue the doctors have missed, or something minor that can be corrected?

Hi...by what you quote this could be chronic pain abdomen. Most of the times we do not find a reason for it even after extensive investigations. I have a few questions and suggestions for you -

Questions-
1. How many months is she having the problem?
2. Is there any family history of gall or kidney stones?
3. Did he have urinary tract infection in the past?
4. Anybody else in the family is having a similar problem?
5. Does he have constipation?

Suggestions-
1. Intussuception is highly unlikely in this age group.
2. Serious problem cannot go on for months together without manifesting with complications.
