Suggest Treatment For Stiffness In The Neck

My husband has had a nagging stiff neck for couple weeks. Now he complained of a dripping sound in his ears. He has a history of ear wax. We started using ear wax removal drops so he can get his ears cleaned by his family dr. I m just wondering if the two symptoms could b related.

Hi,

As for the stiff neck and ear issue, I don't see any way those two things could be connected. I would assume they are two separate issues. For the stiff neck, a muscle relaxer (like Cyclobenzaprine) might help him get over it. I think your plan of using ear wax removal drops to get rid of the ear wax is reasonable as well.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
